Detect stuck partial orders and alert your team using one-time alerts, interval alerts,
and a daily summary of all stuck orders — before customers experience missing items or delivery issues.
Monitors orders that Shopify marks as Partially fulfilled in your store.
Checks how long each order has remained partially fulfilled against your chosen threshold
(5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, or 7 days).
Supports three alert modes:
Single one-time alert – one email when the threshold is first reached.
Interval alerts – repeated alerts every X hours until the order is fully
fulfilled.
Daily summary – a once-per-day email (sent at your selected time) with all
currently stuck partial orders.
Tags orders (for example, PARTIAL_STUCK) so your team can spot them quickly.
Stops alerting and removes orders from summaries once they’re fully fulfilled.
How it works
In Shopify Admin, you configure:
Alert email(s) – one or more internal addresses where notifications should
be sent.
Alert delay – how long an order can remain partially fulfilled (5 minutes–7
days).
Interval alerts – checkbox to repeat alerts at the same delay interval.
Daily summary – checkbox to send a once-per-day summary at your selected
time (store timezone).
A backend scan script runs automatically on a schedule (as frequently as every 5 minutes, depending
on your selected delay).
When an order has been partially fulfilled for longer than your chosen delay, the app
sends alerts based on your settings and tracks internal timestamps.
Once an order is fully fulfilled, interval alerts stop and the order disappears from summaries.
Key benefits
Prevents partially fulfilled orders from quietly aging in the background.
Reduces support tickets about missing items, split shipments, or delayed deliveries.
Gives your team a clear, actionable list of orders that need attention.
Backend-only design – no theme changes, embeds, or storefront scripts.
FAQ
Does FP1 – Partial Fulfillment Flag change my storefront?
No. It’s a backend-only app. It does not add theme blocks, app embeds, or storefront scripts.
Who receives the alerts?
Alerts go to the internal email(s) you configure in the app. Customers never receive emails from this
app.
What’s the difference between the three alert modes?
Single alert sends one email when the threshold is reached. Interval alerts repeat using the same alert delay you selected until fully
fulfilled.
Daily summary sends one email per day at your selected time (store timezone)
listing all stuck partial orders.
How does billing work?
Uses Shopify Billing with a 14-day free trial. Billing continues unless you
uninstall or cancel
through Shopify Admin. Uninstalling stops future renewals. Shopify doesn’t
automatically prorate
unused time in the current billing period.
